Yiorgos Kaloudis, through twelve years of dedicated research, has concluded his groundbreaking work on the Classical Cretan Lyra. Not only has he successfully transcribed J.S. Bach's iconic Cello Suites onto the Classical Cretan Lyra, faithfully capturing the composer's authentic tonalities, but he has also embarked on a mesmerizing journey through time. Delving into the birth era of the Cretan Lyra, he has skillfully transcribed a wide range of Medieval and Renaissance repertoire spanning from 1000 to 1700 A.D on the latest album “LA RÊVEUSE: Early Music on the Classical Cretan Lyra”.
